Charlie Knepper (27) was first discovered by a New York modeling agent while working as an outdoor adventure guide in the mountains of North Carolina.
He signed in 2019 and promptly made his mark—fronting global campaigns for Armani, Calvin Klein, and Abercrombie, and appearing on the covers of VMAN, Perfect Magazine, and others.
Ongoing collaborations with image-makers like Steven Klein and Luigi & Iango have positioned him as a shapeshifting archetype—his visceral look moving fluidly between avant-garde and commercial fashion.
Known for his work on both sides of the camera, Knepper is a photographer. In 2025, he released Sidepiece, a debut monograph tracing the interiority of contemporary fringe youth. The book launched to acclaim at Mast Books.
A stark voice in the emerging generation of downtown artists, he continues to document life at the margins.
Knepper spends his downtime in the Catskills of New York with his German Shepherd, Cash—off the grid and doing his own thing.
